Summary

This study tested a new EMG-controlled video game designed to help people who had a stroke improve hand movement. Twenty chronic stroke survivors with moderate hand impairment played the game to retrain muscle activation patterns. The goal was to see if this approach could make hand movements faster and more coordinated.
