Drill boosts paramedic confidence in Life-Saving airway procedure
NCT ID NCT06645288
First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at whether training paramedics with a special emergency drill (called ERAD) helps them feel more confident when they need to perform an emergency surgical airway. 84 Dutch paramedics filled out surveys before and after the training, and again a few months later. The goal was to see if the drill improves self-confidence, not to test a new treatment.
