Tracking the lab result rush to ERs
NCT ID NCT07405996
Summary
This study aims to understand how often general practitioners send patients to the emergency department because of abnormal blood or lab test results. Researchers will track 5,000 adult patients referred for this reason. The goal is to see if some of these visits could be handled differently, helping to create better care plans and reduce unnecessary emergency room use.
