Summary
This study is testing a decision-making tool designed to help emergency room patients with opioid addiction understand and choose buprenorphine treatment. The tool will be compared to standard care to see if it improves patient knowledge, reduces decision-making stress, and increases treatment acceptance. Researchers aim to make it easier for people to start medication that can help control their addiction.
