First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether women aged 60 and older with early-stage, low-risk breast cancer can safely skip hormone therapy after lumpectomy and just receive radiation. The goal is to see if this approach maintains good disease control while improving quality of life by avoiding side effects from long-term hormone drugs. About 300 participants will be followed for safety and cancer recurrence.
