First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This small pilot study tests whether EMDR therapy can reduce nausea and vomiting that some cancer survivors continue to experience long after chemotherapy ends. Researchers will enroll 20 adults who have had cancer and still suffer from these symptoms for more than two months. The goal is to see if EMDR, a therapy often used for trauma, can help ease these conditioned responses and improve quality of life.
