First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether analyzing the fluid around embryos with a special scanner (NMR) can quickly and cheaply tell if an embryo has the right number of chromosomes. 30 people undergoing IVF and genetic testing took part. The goal was to see if this method could replace the current expensive, slow genetic test and help doctors pick the best embryo for transfer.
