Sticky patch tested to make surgical scars less noticeable

NCT ID NCT03294863

Summary

This small study tested whether a special silicone dressing called the Embrace device could improve the look of scars after skin surgery. Researchers compared two halves of the same wound on 12 patients—one side got the dressing, the other did not. They measured the scars three months later to see if the treated side looked better.
