Tiny filter aims to catch dangerous clots during leg artery surgery
NCT ID NCT07282301
Summary
This study is testing a protective filter device used during procedures to clear blocked leg arteries. The filter is designed to catch any debris or clots that break loose during the procedure, preventing them from traveling further down the leg and causing new blockages. Researchers will enroll 150 patients with blocked leg arteries to see if using this filter reduces complications within 30 days after the procedure.
