Could an email cure your gout? new study tests digital Follow-Up

NCT ID NCT04733079

Summary

This study is testing if following up with patients by email helps doctors better control gout. The goal is to see if regular email check-ins help adjust medication doses to reach a target level in the blood, which can dissolve the crystals that cause gout pain. It compares this email-based approach to the usual way patients are followed by their doctors.
