First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether an 8-week power wheelchair training program helps children with severe cerebral palsy improve their driving skills and independence. Sixteen children who cannot walk or push a manual wheelchair will be randomly assigned to either the training or usual care. Researchers will measure changes in wheelchair skills right after training and again 8 weeks later.
