First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a new electromagnetic navigation system can help surgeons find small lung nodules more accurately than the standard CT-guided method. About 400 adults with a single lung nodule up to 2 cm will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques. The goal is to see which approach leads to better nodule localization and smoother surgery.
