First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether women with certain aggressive breast cancers (triple negative or HR-/HER2+) can skip surgery if their tumors disappear completely after chemotherapy and radiation. About 200 participants will receive the combined treatment and be monitored for 5 years to see if avoiding surgery is safe. The goal is to reduce invasive procedures without harming long-term outcomes.
