Summary
This study tested a new wearable vest that combines chest vibrations with mild electrical stimulation to help people with chronic lung diseases like COPD, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, and asthma clear mucus from their airways. Twenty-one adults used the vest and were compared to a standard vibrating vest. The goal was to see if the new vest improves mucus removal and comfort. The study is already completed.
