First seen Jun 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether mixing an electrolyte beverage with water (instead of water alone) helps people drink the full bowel-cleansing solution before a colonoscopy. About 405 adults will be randomly assigned to one of three drink mixtures. The goal is to see if the electrolyte drink improves bowel cleanliness, comfort, and how well people follow the preparation instructions.
