Can acupuncture needles ease bladder urgency? new trial investigates
NCT ID NCT07124390
First seen Jun 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether electroacupuncture can help women with overactive bladder who haven't improved with standard physical therapy. About 32 women will receive either electroacupuncture, nerve stimulation, or a sham procedure over 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if a larger study is possible, not to prove the treatment works yet.
