NCT ID NCT07152860
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding electroacupuncture (gentle electric pulses through thin needles) to standard medication can reverse damage to the stomach lining in people with chronic atrophic gastritis. About 100 adults aged 18-75 will receive either electroacupuncture plus a stomach-protecting drug or the drug alone for 24 weeks. The goal is to see if the combination can improve stomach tissue and reduce symptoms like indigestion.
