First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether electroacupuncture can reduce nausea, vomiting, poor appetite, and dry mouth caused by chemotherapy in breast cancer patients. About 388 people with stage I-III breast cancer will receive either standard anti-nausea drugs plus electroacupuncture or drugs alone. The goal is to see if adding acupuncture improves symptom control and to understand how it works.
