First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 10, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether electroacupuncture can reduce stomach-related side effects like nausea, vomiting, poor appetite, and dry mouth caused by chemotherapy in breast cancer patients. About 388 women with stage I-III breast cancer will receive either standard anti-nausea drugs plus electroacupuncture or drugs alone. The goal is to see if adding acupuncture improves symptom control and quality of life.
