Summary
This study is testing whether adding electroacupuncture to standard anxiety medication helps reduce anxiety symptoms more effectively. Researchers will compare real electroacupuncture, fake electroacupuncture, and no acupuncture in 123 adults with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. They will also use brain scans to try to understand how electroacupuncture might work to calm the brain.
