First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a specific combination of electroacupuncture points can affect bowel activity in 30 healthy volunteers. Participants will have their bowel sounds recorded before, during, and after a 20-minute acupuncture session using a digital stethoscope. The goal is to see if this approach could one day help people with constipation, especially those who cannot use standard laxatives.
