NCT ID NCT07160114

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding an electrical stimulation glove to regular hand exercises helps people who had a stroke more than six months ago. Forty adults aged 40 to 60 were split into two groups: one did task training with the glove, the other did training alone. The glove sends gentle electrical pulses to hand muscles during practice of everyday tasks like grasping objects. Results may show if this device boosts recovery of hand function and dexterity.
