First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 19, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is testing whether adding abdominal electrical stimulation to standard core exercises helps stroke patients improve their balance and trunk muscle strength. A small group of stroke survivors will either do exercises alone or exercises plus the stimulation. Researchers will measure changes in balance and muscle thickness to see if the stimulation provides extra benefit.
