First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested if giving a light electrical stimulation to a specific wrist point during breast cancer surgery could help prevent nausea and vomiting after the operation. Researchers enrolled 188 women at high risk for post-operative nausea. The approach combined the wrist stimulation with standard anti-nausea drugs to see if it worked better than drugs alone.
