NCT ID NCT07187388

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study tests whether a single 30-minute session of non-invasive electrical stimulation on the face can reduce jaw pain, improve mouth opening, and make chewing easier for people with ALS or PLS. Ten participants will receive the treatment during one clinic visit and report their pain and oral hygiene difficulty the next day by phone. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach can improve daily comfort and function.
