Zap and balance: new combo therapy tested for wobbly ankles

NCT ID NCT06204861

Summary

This study tested if a special type of electric therapy (CRET) combined with balance training could help people with chronic ankle instability get better faster. Researchers compared three groups: one doing just balance training, one receiving just the electric therapy, and one getting both treatments together. The goal was to see if the combined approach improved ankle function, balance, and body awareness more than either treatment alone.
