Gentler chemo tested for elderly cancer Patients' transplants

NCT ID NCT03352765

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new combination of chemotherapy drugs (RBM) given before a patient's own stem cells are transplanted back into them. The goal is to see if this regimen is safer and has fewer severe side effects than the standard treatment for older adults (ages 65+) with multiple myeloma or a type of lymphoma that has returned. The study will first determine the safest dose before looking at how well it works.
