Summary
This phase 2 trial is testing whether the drug elacestrant, given alone or with triptorelin (which temporarily stops ovary hormone production), can slow or shrink hormone-sensitive breast tumors in premenopausal women. About 96 women will take the pills daily for 30 days before their scheduled surgery. The main goal is to see how many patients have a significant drop in a tumor growth marker (Ki67) after treatment.
