First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at how well a device called EkoSonic works in 30 Chinese patients with acute pulmonary embolism (blood clots in the lungs). The device uses sound waves to break up clots while delivering clot-busting medicine. The main goal is to see if it improves heart function within 48 hours. This is an observational study, not a cure, but aims to control the disease and reduce strain on the heart.
