Summary
This study tested a smartphone app designed to help adults with diabetes who take multiple daily insulin injections. The app calculated meal-time and background insulin doses, and automatically adjusted them weekly. Researchers wanted to see if using the app for 6 weeks was safe and helped people spend more time in their target blood sugar range.
