Can cartoons and games teach kids about blood thinners? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT03910933

Summary

This study is testing whether new online educational modules, which use pictures and simple stories (infographics), can help children and their caregivers better understand and manage blood thinner medications like warfarin. It involves about 250 pediatric patients and their families, who will use the modules and take quizzes to see what they've learned. The main goal is to see if this modern, tech-based approach improves knowledge and reduces the stress of learning about complex medical treatments.
