Could a simple act before surgery make prostate cancer operation easier?

NCT ID NCT07243795

Summary

This study aims to find out if ejaculating shortly before prostate cancer surgery makes the procedure easier for the surgeon. Researchers will compare two groups of 40 men: one asked to ejaculate within 36 hours before surgery, and another asked to abstain for at least 72 hours. They will measure the size of the seminal vesicles (glands) and see if a smaller size leads to a faster, less difficult operation.
