NCT ID NCT07170514

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tests two ways to set the breathing machine during laparoscopic gynecological surgery to protect the lungs. About 200 women will be randomly assigned to one of two methods: one guided by electrical impedance tomography (EIT) and the other by standard lung compliance measurements. The goal is to see which method reduces breathing effort and lowers the risk of lung problems after surgery.
