NCT ID NCT07736794
First seen Jul 30, 2026 · Last updated Jul 31, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a supervised group exercise program, called EINTER, can improve muscle strength and walking ability in adults recovering from stroke. The program combines cycling and strength training, tailored to each person, and runs for up to four weeks. Researchers will measure changes in strength and endurance before and after the program, and ask participants about their satisfaction.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- a structured group-based therapeutic exercise program combining aerobic cycling and progressive strength training
- What this could lead to
- If effective, this program could offer a practical, supervised way to boost strength and endurance during stroke rehabilitation.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, single-group study without a control group, so improvements may be due to natural recovery or other factors. Results may not apply to all stroke survivors.
