Race Walkers' breathing under the microscope at high altitude
NCT ID NCT07466849
First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at 64 race walkers to find out if they have exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB), a condition that narrows airways during exercise. Researchers also checked if training at high altitude makes EIB worse or affects performance. Participants did breathing tests, blood draws, and treadmill runs over 2-4 months.
