Eggs vs. pills: the surprising heart health difference?

NCT ID NCT03039023

Summary

This study aimed to understand if the body processes choline—a nutrient needed for health—differently when it comes from eggs versus from supplements. Researchers wanted to see if these different sources changed the level of a blood compound (TMAO) linked to heart disease risk. They compared these effects in 86 healthy adults over 28 days.
