Egg powder tested to shrink deadly brain tumors
NCT ID NCT07364786
Summary
This study is testing if a special food-grade egg yolk powder called Salovum® can help control glioblastoma, a very aggressive brain cancer. Researchers will measure pressure and inflammation inside the tumors of 10 patients before and after they take the powder, following a standard biopsy procedure. The goal is to see if this safe, over-the-counter product can create a better environment inside the tumor to potentially improve future treatments.
