Summary
This study looks back at patient records to see how effective scaling and root planing (a deep cleaning) is for treating gum pockets that are 5 to 8 millimeters deep. Researchers will analyze data from 110 patients over two years. The goal is to confirm how well this standard treatment works for different pocket depths.
