Acid reducers may change how drug works in body
NCT ID NCT07171619
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at how two common stomach acid medications (famotidine and rabeprazole) affect the levels of the drug nirogacestat in the blood. Twenty-four healthy adult men took nirogacestat alone and with each acid reducer. The goal was to see if these stomach drugs change how much nirogacestat gets absorbed, which helps doctors decide the best way to take the medicine.
