Brain wave test may spot learning risks in baby heart patients

Summary

This study looks at whether brain wave tests (EEG) done before and after heart surgery in babies under 1 year old can predict future learning, attention, or autism problems. About 50 infants will take part. The goal is to find early signs of brain injury so doctors can offer the right support as the child grows.
