Scientists map brain waves during surgery to improve anesthesia safety

NCT ID NCT07468162

Summary

Researchers will monitor brain waves in 48 patients receiving one of three sedatives during limb surgery with nerve blocks. The goal is to compare brain patterns when patients lose and regain consciousness to potentially improve anesthesia safety and recovery.
