Scientists hunt hidden seizures in Alzheimer's patients

NCT ID NCT04002583

Summary

This study aims to understand how often seizures occur in people with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Researchers at Mayo Clinic are monitoring 20 participants using a portable EEG device worn for 48 hours to detect brain activity patterns. The goal is to gather information about seizure frequency, not to test a treatment.
