Brain wave clues may unlock fenfluramine success in rare epilepsy

NCT ID NCT07555171

First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether certain brain wave patterns (EEG markers) can predict how well the drug fenfluramine works for people with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS), a severe form of epilepsy. Researchers will track 20 children and adults aged 2 to 35 over 6 months to see if changes in EEG match improvements in seizures. The goal is to give doctors a better way to know if fenfluramine will help each patient.
