Phone calls and training aim to ease life with lung pressure disease
NCT ID NCT07429552
Summary
This study tested whether a special education and support program could help people with pulmonary hypertension manage their symptoms better. For nine months, 49 patients received in-person training and regular phone check-ins to learn how to handle symptoms like shortness of breath, fatigue, and pain. The goal was to see if this structured support improved their daily life and quality of life compared to patients who received standard medical care alone.
