NCT ID NCT07288918
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether giving organ transplant patients a mobile app or a teaching booklet helps them better manage their health after surgery. Researchers will measure quality of life, how well patients take their anti-rejection medications, and symptom control. About 108 liver or kidney transplant recipients will be assigned to one of three groups: standard care, standard care plus a booklet, or standard care plus a mobile app.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
educational intervention (mobile application or teaching booklet)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that simple educational tools like a mobile app or booklet help transplant patients stick to their medication schedule and feel better day-to-day.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study (108 participants) that tests education methods, not a new drug or cure. Results may not apply to all transplant patients, and improvements may be modest.
