Simple education cuts complications after eye surgery
NCT ID NCT07439809
Summary
This study tested whether giving older patients extra education after cataract surgery helps them recover better. Researchers compared 80 patients who got standard care with those who also received structured lessons on using eye drops and self-care. They found the education group was better at following medication instructions and had fewer complications, improving their vision-related quality of life.
