First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at whether giving older adults (ages 65-85) extra, structured education after cataract surgery helps them use their eye drops correctly and recover better. Half of the 80 participants received this education, while the other half got standard care. The researchers measured medication adherence and vision-related quality of life over the first three weeks after surgery.
