First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests a new nasal spray device that delivers fluticasone deeper into the nose to treat chronic Eustachian tube dysfunction, a condition causing ear pressure, popping, and muffled hearing. About 80 adults with symptoms lasting over 3 months will receive either the active spray or a placebo. The goal is to see if this improved delivery method reduces ear symptoms better than standard sprays.
