New heart signal recorder aims to sharpen procedure accuracy
NCT ID NCT07137455
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a new device called the EDEN system that records and classifies electrical signals from the heart during medical procedures. About 50 adults having heart procedures for ventricular arrhythmia or pacing will participate. The device works alongside standard equipment and does not change patient care. The goal is to see how accurately it classifies signal depth compared to expert review.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
EDEN Intracardiac Electrogram Recording and Classifying System (device)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to more accurate classification of heart signals during procedures, potentially improving future treatments for ventricular arrhythmia.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage feasibility study with only 50 participants. The device is not used to make medical decisions, so direct patient benefit is not expected.
