ER trial aims to calm patients before trouble starts
NCT ID NCT04959279
Summary
This small pilot study is testing a new computer tool called ED-TREAT, designed to help emergency room staff identify patients at risk of becoming agitated and suggest calming techniques early. The goal is to prevent agitation from happening, improving care and safety. The study is mainly checking if the tool is easy for staff to use and fits into their normal workflow, not yet measuring patient health outcomes.
