Scientists use painless 'Skin Suction' on babies to crack eczema code
NCT ID NCT07228962
Summary
This study aims to understand the causes of eczema in babies by comparing skin fluid from healthy babies and those with the condition. Researchers will use a gentle, non-invasive device to painlessly collect tiny fluid samples from the skin of 30 babies. The goal is to identify chemical signals that could lead to new prevention strategies and treatments for eczema.
